Required Documents to Register New Supplier

Domestic & Foreign Suppliers 

The process of registering and updating the master data of foreign suppliers for internally and externally managed suppliers, as well as the instructions for the documents when they are provided to Sempra Infrastructure in the applicable platform.

SI US: Means that the document is required in the registration and/or updating of data of foreign suppliers nonresidents in the United States of America, who have or will have a business relationship with Sempra Infrastructure companies constituted in the United States of America (US). 

Documents required: 

Applicable for new suppliers /Data update in internally and externally managed registrations 

• Supplier Information Form / Internally Managed Supplier Information Form 
• Tax Identification Certificate (Optional)
• Payee official identification (Check payment) 
• Bank statement, Bank letter, Bank contract (Transfer payment) 
• SI US: California Forms. 
• SI US: Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Questionnaires (See instructions) 

Instructions for Documents Required: 

• Supplier Information Form / Internally Managed Supplier Information Form 
  • It is an internal SI form that is required to obtain validation of the supplier's banking information and general data. The form will be provided to the supplier/internal user in the registration process in the applicable platform. 
  • The form must be provided for registration of new suppliers and for updating data related to the supplier's name, company name and/or bank details. 
  • The document must be dated less than 12 months after the date on which the registration/update process was initiated in the applicable platform. 
  • It must be properly filled out and signed with a handwritten signature or certified electronic signature; editable images are not allowed. 
• Tax Identification Certificate. 
  • The document must be provided for registration of new suppliers and for updating data related to the supplier's name or company name. 
  • Valid document for owners or individuals receiving donations: CURP, social security number, identification number. 
  • SI US: Valid document: The W8 form issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) which must be properly completed in the current form version. The form can be downloaded at the following page www.irs.gob
